Fine Mess: A Michelin Guide American Smokehouse. Athens, Greece ★★★★
Fine Mess is set in one of these hybrid residential/catering spaces in a new build block in Athens, Greece.
Decor includes this feather masse as a centrepiece in the restaurant, as above.
I start with an Illusionist Cocktail, clementine sour with gin:
I then go for the Smoked Salt and Pepper Brisket, a taste experience that is truly Michelin Guide with the jus gravy adorning thick slices of Beef.
I accompanied this with a fine red, a Californian zinfandel, which paired well with the Brisket.
The atmosphere was good, the smoked beef Brisket excellent, the service could have been more attentive however which means a 4 ★ rather than a 5. A worthwhile place to eat when in Athens. Recommend. ★★★★
